REVOCABLE LIVING TRUST

A revocable living trust is a trust which can be changed by you at any time and which is mostly disregarded during your life.  Typically your real estate and certain other assets should be titled to the trust.  Your attorney may have established a Revocable Living Trust if you are not likely to owe any estate taxes at your death.  This trust does not require a tax return nor any accounting records until it becomes an Irrevocable Trust at the time of death.  Be sure your family knows that they need to contact your attorney and Gardner Estate & Trust, CPA when there is a death.
